Acting in a movie or a play is about making the audience believe in the act. The responsibility of making the characters real rests on the actors. Over a period of time acting styles have evolved from presentational to method acting making an honest attempt to bring life to the characters and have them play the roles as designed in the story. Understanding the emotional construct of a character and emoting it with its nuances in a given situation makes acting so interesting. An actor begins his or her journey in acting, understanding these emotional nuances and their expressions and this process enhances the ability to manage his or her own emotions and empathise.
In this workshop titled “Make Believe” we will focus on Acting styles and techniques using method acting & improvisations and take the participants through an experience of becoming a character. Our “Construct… Emote…Enact ” workshop touches upon these concepts. “Make Believe” will take the journey on Acting deeper which will benefit the participants in the following ways…
