What started truly as a venture, with our first play staged in 2015, transformed into a theatrical journey over the years. In this short time it gave us an opportunity to build relationships with so many individuals and included them in our journey, be the actors who came with little or no past acting experience or the audience who had never watched a play before. Its really heartening to note that many of those first time actors are continuing with their theatrical journey and many of those people in the audience who had been first timers to a play, have continued to watch plays including subsequent productions of Ventures.

Much later, towards the end of 2019, after producing 3 full act plays, Ventures launched Theatre based behavioural learning as experiential and immersive learning modules on behavioural attributes harnessing the inherent capability of human beings to act and emote. These modules were re-launched in August 2020 with online delivery capabilities. Susanto recalls “We could relate an actor’s journey in a theatre or a movie to our daily lives where we play different roles. Over time, it was clear to us that we don’t exist without a role that we play. To me there is nothing as conscious I or me, without the context of a role. These roles are no different from the characters that an actor would play in a movie or a theatre. Every role has its shades, that manifest in behaviours and they have to be played well to make our days happy and productive”. That was the genesis of theatre based behavioral learning.
