Stage Production

Ventures started its journey with full act plays, the first one was staged in 2015. Passion for theatre and stage is indeed an addiction and its infectious too. A good script based on a powerful story impressed a few corporate executives to stage Maugham’s adapted play ignoring all pressures of daily life, not knowing the path ahead, investing their weekends on rehearsals which otherwise would be spent with families and friends. As the act came together and started to show promise, the team under the leadership of Susanto, decided to stage 4 consecutive shows over a weekend in the month of May. The overwhelming response from the audience encouraged more such ventures as the platform on boarded and trained new actors, staged multiple plays bringing new audience to theatre along its journey.  

Stage is powerful. Standing under the lights, playing the characters who we are not, engaging the audience and making them believe in the story and its characters is an unparalleled experience. The only thing that connects the actors to the audience is the story that unfolds with the interplay of the characters, uninhibited. Ventures continue to explore, learn and engage with stage theatre and its audience, remaining true and honest to its form, bringing relevant and contemporary stories and presenting them with professional quality.
